MONAK, commissioned by a private client, has recently completed the transformation and redesign of the interior space of a home in the historic center of Palma de Mallorca.
Drawing inspiration from the rich history and tradition of Mallorca, as well as the aristocratic heritage of the residence, we opted for a timeless and distinguished design that restores the property’s lost essence. Through a thoughtful blend of classic elements and contemporary touches, we have successfully bridged the gap between the traditional past and the modern present, creating an elegant and welcoming home.
3rd FLOOR RENOVATION - ALFONSO IX HOTEL

Alejandro Ferreiro/M O N A K were directly hired by the property for the renovation of this hotel, given their extensive experience in hotel projects in London.
Experience gained in hotels such as the Rosewood Hotel (30 Grosvenor Square), which aspires to become the first 7* hotel in the UK, was brought to bear on the design of the third floor. A sober design of great beauty was proposed to showcase luxury without exceeding the budget, using noble materials where essential for a hotel of this category. Its timeless design with meticulously drawn straight lines ensures that it will not need renovation beyond the wear and tear that may occur in the bathroom fixtures.

The building subject to this rehabilitation project is located in the Historic Center of Noia and is regulated by the Special Plan for Protection and Interior Reform of said Center.
It was built in 1935. All the descriptive, urban, and technical data of the Basic and Execution Project were drafted to successfully carry out the interior rehabilitation of a party-wall building, following the rules of good construction and applicable regulations.

This project arose from the collaboration of Alejandro Ferreiro with an external architect. The client (architect) needs new ways to convey his ideas according to the strict requirements of the client and, when appropriate, to improve them.
Alejandro Ferreiro provided technical and artistic support through programs to ensure the successful completion of this project.
